What is your maximum capacity?The Club Room – Our largest indoor space, ideal for larger gatherings. Capacity: Up to 60 guests standing. The Banquet Hall – A characterful dining space. Capacity: Seats 22 guests as a standard or 45 with hire furniture brought in (at clients own cost) for formal dining and can host up to 60 standing for a drinks reception. The Drawing Room – A more intimate setting, well-suited for social gatherings or smaller receptions. Capacity: Up to 40 guests standing. The Outdoor Dining Area – A beautiful al fresco option. Capacity: Seats 22 guests. The Garden has various open scenic spaces for larger groups - If you wish to erect a marquee with one of our preferred suppliers, we can accommodate up to 250 guests for an additional fee. Glamping for up to 20 tents can also be arranged through an external glamping company (ground rent: £3,000 + VAT). Please note: non-resident guests do not have access to the main house, pool, or spa.

Is there a space where I can get ready before the wedding?Yes, there plenty of areas to choose from, as minimum stay is required for weddings and the full use of the house is given for events you will have the choice of the whole house.

Do you have disabled access?Coombe End does not offer step-free entry from the car park into the main house, and there are few accessible facilities throughout the house and bedrooms.

Can we use confetti?You’re welcome to use confetti, however, please stick to dried flower petals only.

Can we provisionally book a wedding date?After your initial visit, we’ll hold your preferred date for up to 7 days without requiring a deposit.

Can we use fireworks or sparklers?Fireworks are available at an additional facility fee of £2,500, conducted by our nominated supplier, and must take place before 10 pm at the latest.

Will I have help planning my wedding?At Coombe End, our planning team will guide you through every step, ensuring even the smallest details are covered.

What activities can you arrange around my wedding?We can organise yoga, Pilates, movie nights, lawn games, foraging, cocktail masterclasses, and wild-cooking workshops. Email us at info@coombe-end.com to discuss your ideas and booking.

Do you have an outdoor area for civil ceremonies?No. Coombe End doesn’t have an area that fulfils Registration Office requirements. Outdoor celebrant-led ceremonies can be run from April to September, weather permitting.

Is the private chef included in the booking?Yes, the rental rate includes up to 50 hours of private chef service per week, available daily from 7:30am–11:00pm. This includes two waitresses to support meal service. Please note that food and beverage costs are charged separately. Our chef can create bespoke menus tailored to your preferences – whether it’s an elegant dinner, canapé reception, or a multi-course celebration. Menus are designed around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with special arrangements available for children of all ages.

What are the check-in and check-out times?Check-in at Coombe End Manor starts at 3pm; please depart by 10am on your day of departure. Subject to availability, a late check-out can be arranged. Please enquire in advance.

Is breakfast included?A full English breakfast (with vegetarian and continental options) is included in your stay. Served each morning between 8 am and 10 am in the Breakfast Room or, weather permitting, on the terrace.

What parking facilities are there?Ample on-site parking is provided for all guests, including parking close to the main entrance for ease of loading and unloading.

Are there any facilities for children?Yes - children are very welcome. We can provide cots, high-chairs, and safety gates on request, plus a selection of board games and outdoor toys. A bespoke children’s menu is also available.

What is the minimum length of stay?We require a minimum three-night stay, exceptions can be made at management's discretion.

What is your cancellation policy?Please refer to our terms and conditions.

Do you provide housekeeping during my stay?The rental rate includes daily a housekeeping service with 2 full-time housekeepers; beds will be made and towels refreshed each morning.

Are pets permitted?Dogs are welcome at management's discretion, there is a per-night fee. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and any damages or required cleaning will be charged.

Is the area around the estate private?Coombe End is a low-key, luxury escape from suburban life, set within acres of rolling Cotswold landscape. Its rural location allows guests to fully unwind, with the peace of mind that comes from complete privacy. While the immediate surroundings of the property are available for guests to enjoy, please note that there are a small number of privately tenanted houses on the estate. We kindly ask that their privacy is respected during your stay.

Is Wi-Fi provided?Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and gardens—perfect for work or streaming.

What on-site “Do” activities are available?From yoga and Pilates in the gardens to foraging walks, cocktail masterclasses, wild-cooking workshops and film evenings in our screening room, there’s something for everyone. Are there any noise restrictions?To preserve the tranquillity of the house and grounds, please keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.

What access arrangements are in place?Coombe End is a historic property, and as such, it does not currently offer step-free access from the car park into the main house. Due to the nature of the building, accessible facilities within the house and bedrooms are limited. Please do get in touch if you have specific access needs – we’ll do our best to assist wherever possible.
